The Maize Genetics and Genomics Database (MaizeGDB) and SoyBase offer a wealth of genetic and genomic resources for the maize and soybean research communities. This workshop will give an overview of the wide variety of tools and data available, including AI-ready datasets, pangenomic resources, genome browsers, SNPversity, the MaizeGDB Phylostrata Tool, and more. The workshop will conclude with an open question session where presenters can help you apply these resources directly to your own research.
About MaizeGDB: The Maize Genetics and Genomics Database (MaizeGDB) is a community-oriented, long-term, federally funded informatics service to researchers focused on the crop plant and model organism Zea mays.
About SoyBase: SoyBase integrates genetic and genomic information to aid soybean breeders and researchers.
